My dad was one of my biggest supporters, always showing such enthusiasm when I shared random art pieces and cheering me on. He had a love for bears and most animals for that matter, which became something we shared—whether it was exchanging funny animal videos or the plush bears he gave me every year for over two decades. My mom was my biggest cheerleader, always talking me up to anyone who would listen. She kept one of my best pieces—a realistic charcoal drawing of a chimp—on her wall like a trophy. She was a night owl, and some of my favorite memories are of us sitting outside late at night, watching meteor showers, eclipses, or just talking under the stars.

Losing them both changed everything, but this business became my way of keeping them close. Their love, encouragement, and all those little moments that made them them are also what make me, me. And that’s what makes Celestial Bear Design what it is today—a reflection of that love and creativity. Every project I take on is approached with the same care and passion they instilled in me, with a focus on bringing ideas to life in a way that feels true to the people behind them. Art has always been my compass, even during my time serving in the Army. While my fellow service members and civilian friends frequently told me I belonged in a creative career, it took me some time to find my way here. For the past five years, I've poured my heart into graphic design, discovering genuine fulfillment in bringing others' visions to life.
